Ploughman's Lunch with Blackberry Tart

Ingredients 

  • 1 recipe Beef, Stout, and Barley Soup, prepared
  • 1 recipe Spiced Cherry and Port Glazed Ham, prepared
  • 1 recipe Blackberry Almond Tart with Honey Whipped Mascarpone, prepared
  • 2-3 assorted cheeses
  • 1 loaf country bread
  • assorted pickles

Instructions 

  • To prepare this meal, being by roasting the ham. Both the ham and soup can be made a day ahead and reheated before serving. Bake the tart just before serving.
  • The ploughman's lunch can be arranged on a serving platter or on individual plates. Slice the ham and portion the cheese. Arrange the ham, cheese, and pickles on the serving platter or plates. Serve the bread and soup on the side.
  • Serve the Blackberry Almond Tart for dessert.
