An Elven Feast in Rivendell

Journey to the realm of Imladris to partake in a lavish Elven feast featuring delicate florals, fresh greens and more, foraged from the lush gardens of the Elves!

The Elves of Middle Earth are shrouded in mystery and awe. First born of Iluvatar, the immortal race of Elves were created in the First Age of Middle Earth. They were born under starlight before the Sun and Moon had even been created. Journey to the realm of Imladris to partake in a lavish Elven feast!

Imladris, or Rivendell, is a valley sanctuary for the Elves of Eriador. Ruled over by Elrond, Rivendell is nestled in a valley on the western side of the Misty Mountains. There awaits a feast for the senses full of fresh ingredients and the delicacies of the Elvish gardens. The air is filled with the sweet fragrance of fresh flowers and the aroma of herb-scented oils. The table is resplendent with a selection of Rivendell’s finest foods that will nourish both body and soul.

Elven Recipes

Begin your feast with a luscious whipped ricotta topped with salted rosemary walnuts and a drizzle of rosemary scented honey!

Travelling far from his home in Mirkwood, Legolas of the Woodland Realm is the inspiration for this fir-scented cocktail.

No Elven feast is complete without out at least one fresh, leafy salad. Delicate chive blossoms star in this refreshing salad – perfectly balanced with a slightly sweet vinaigrette, crisp and tangy carrot ribbons, and creamy goat cheese.

Inspired by the lush and verdant woodlands surrounding Rivendell, freshly gathered chard leaves are transformed into these delectable cheesy fritters.

Answering the question once and for all whether Elves eat meat, these elegant lamb chops are grilled over an open flame, flavoured with aromatic juniper berries, and topped with a fresh arugula mint pesto.

To finish off this lavish Rivendell feast is a dreamy, star-shaped pavlova. Inspired by Arwen Evenstar, daughter of Elrond, this sweet pavlova is topped with blueberries and tangy lemon curd.
